Quick FAQs

Please Contact Us with questions not answered here, or if you would like to book an escape game outside our normal business hours.

What is Think It Out?

Think It Out provides exciting, challenging, and interactive game experiences for friends, families, and colleagues. We have four escape games at our brick-and-mortar location in Fraser, MI, along with our traveling Mobile Escape Games.

What is an escape room? The premise is simple: You and your team are locked in a room with 60 minutes and must escape by solving clues, cracking codes, and uncovering mysteries and hidden secrets.

How do I book a game?

Games are booked online on the Book Your Mission page. Once booked, you will receive an email confirmation, as well as a reminder the day prior to your mission. If you need assistance, give us a call and we will be able to book your mission online for you.

Will other people be in the room with us? No, all games are private! We feel that pairing strangers together lowers the overall experience. Communication and teamwork is key to escaping and we've found that's difficult to accomplish among people you don't know.

Can you accommodate large parties or corporate events? Please Contact Us to schedule these special events.

Where do I park?

Free lighted parking is available in front of the building and in the lot directly behind.

What are your hours?

We "work" when you want to play. Our times are posted under Book Your Game but we do have flexible game times. Just give us a 2 hour advanced notice.

Off hours Special Games are available - Please contact us!

Where are you located?

Our address is: 16658 15 Mile Road, Fraser, MI 48026 (in the Kingston Office Center).

Am I really locked in the room?

Figuratively speaking, yes, that’s part of the thrill! Don’t worry, we've seen movies that don’t end well with that scenario too. Rest assured that every door is equipped with an exit button so any time you feel the need to leave the room you may.

How long is each game?

Each game is 60 minutes; however, you may be able to earn some extra time by solving our Lobby Puzzles! We also recommend arriving at least 15 minutes early for check in. Once all participants are present and checked in, you’ll be briefed on your mission. There will be a debriefing upon completion, and optional photo opportunities with your team. Total time between check-in and leaving averages around 90 minutes.

Is there an age limit?

We recommend children be age 8 years or older. Families frequently visit with one or two younger children and they have a great time; however, the game is designed for ages 18 and up. Participants 17 and under must be accompanied in the room by an adult.

How many can play at one time?

The number of players depends on the room. Each room requires a minimum of 4 people and some games are max 12 players.

May I come and play alone?

Special consideration may be made for solo play. Please Contact Us for further information.

Do I need special skills or knowledge to play the game?

The game is designed to test team working skills, creativity, and “thinking outside the box.” No outside knowledge, other than common knowledge, is needed. The game requires no special skills and is not physically challenging. Everything you need is in the room.

I have already tried one of the game rooms. Is it worth trying out the other rooms too?

We have multiple escape room games each containing different secrets, riddles, puzzles, and escape strategies. If you like adventure and challenge, we recommend trying them all. Check back frequently or join our email list for new missions and adventures that will be coming soon!

If I am unable to attend my reserved time, what should I do?

All bookings are non-refundable; however, if you provide at least 48 hours advanced notice, we can help reschedule you for another time.

What should I bring to the game?

All of the inner sleuthing skills you can muster! Answers to the clues, riddles and puzzles are all in the room; nothing more is needed.

Are cell phones allowed?

Cell phones are allowed, but ultimately will not help you escape. Everything you need to escape is in the room.

What happens if I arrive late?

Some days, we run a very tight schedule so room entry will be dependent on room availability. We'll do our best accommodate you, but please give us a call if you know you will be running late so we can work something out. THERE ARE NO REFUNDS FOR NO-SHOWS.
